3. Practice empathy. Concentrating on non-verbal and verbal signals can provide you with valuable insights into the emotions of your coworkers or customers. The words of empathy do not excuse inappropriate behavior, but they can remind you that everyone has their struggles.
4. Be aware of your stressors. Find out what is stressing you, and then be conscious of how you can reduce it in your daily life. If you know that checking your email at work at night will throw you off your feet and you’re still determining when to check it, put it aside until the following day. Better yet, you can leave it to be checked when you come to work.
5. Recover from the difficulties. Everyone encounters challenges. How you respond to these obstacles will set you up for success or in full-on panic mode. We all know the importance of optimism can take you far. To assist you in overcoming the adversity that you face, try practicing optimism and not be a sourpuss. What can you take away from this experience? Ask constructive questions to determine what you can gain from the issue you face.
